What QZ adds
QZ is a bridge between supported fitness equipment and training applications. Depending on the equipment and platform, QZ can expose equipment data and control paths to apps such as Zwift, MyWhoosh, Rouvy and Peloton, and can connect workout data with services including Apple Health/HealthKit, Garmin Connect, Strava and Google Health/Health Connect where those workflows are supported and configured.
Merach S28 result
| Capability | Evidence from issue #4196 |
|---|---|
| QZ connection/workflow | Confirmed working after the QZ update. |
| Automatic resistance | Confirmed working without any issue. |
| Auto-incline | Not checked and not claimed in this article. |
Setup notes
- Install a QZ build that contains the fix discussed in issue #4196.
- Pair the Merach S28 through the appropriate QZ bike workflow.
- Test an app workout that requests resistance changes, then confirm that the bike responds as expected.
This is a device-specific confirmation, not a guarantee that every Merach model or every app workflow behaves identically. Auto-incline is deliberately outside the confirmed scope.
